Phone advice!!
I am strongly considering finally switching to a smart phone. It’s pretty much down to an iPhone 4s or a Galaxy Nexus from Samsung. I know a lot more about the iPhone but really wanted to know if anyone has a Galaxy Nexus and what they thought.
I’m also highly swayed by awesome covers and this Doctor Who TARDIS phone cover that I super duper wicked want only comes for the iPhone right now. This is a big deal.
If you do have experience with the Nexus, can you give me your opinion on things like if the big screen is awesome or too big and awkward to use comfortably?
Reblogging myself because I still need help and am still very much undecided. The main thing that bothers me about getting an iPhone is that I would be paying just as much (probably even more) for a phone that is still on a 3G network instead of taking advantage of the 4G LTE network that Verizon is on. It just seems like a waste to spend more on a phone that runs on a slower network.

IMO…I have been with Verizon for 1 month (had Sprint for 10 yrs) and VZW has been terrible for 4G…I miss Sprint. I have a Stratosphere.

3G speeds are still able to go much faster than they currently are. Won’t notice much difference with 4G.

I work at a call center of a mobile network provider, so I have a bit experience (I guess). iPhone is cool, especially iPhone 4S.

I think the iphone is highly overpriced. It’s a great gadget, but so is the galaxy, and its much cheaper. I’d go for the Samsung. Just sayin’

You might want to make sure your in a 4G area first. I would still go with an iPhone though.

If you live in a 4G area it might be better to get a 4G phone, but the iphone is so much easier and friendlier in terms of UI and apps.

If you really want an iPhone, I’d recommend waiting for the next gen later this year. Check reviews for the Nexus online!

The 4G isn’t really 4G, they just call it that when it is really just 3.5G, there is no requirement for them to call it 4G
