THAT’S TONIGHT!!!
I will be getting the party started early by making myself some apple pie hot buttered cider to enjoy while I watch Raylan kick some ass.
An actor of rangy grace and wolfish good looks — his easy grin seems designed to induce swoons and suspicion in equal measure — Mr. Olyphant has carved out the career of a man Hollywood isn’t quite sure how to use.
“The reason Mr. Olyphant works as Raylan is because in various ways he is Raylan. His colleagues point to his sharp sense of humor and casual verbosity, a gift of gab common to Leonard characters. (He also has a Leonardian flair for profanity, as exemplified by an unprintable reaction to an outré Korean art installation at the museum.)”
So many feelings right now. Justified returns next Tuesday on FX. I trust you’ll all be watching it.
Oh, I’ll be watching.

The third season of “Justified” will debut Tuesday, January 17 at 10 p.m. Neal McDonough and Mykelti Williamson - both alums of Graham Yost’s short-lived NBC cop drama “Boomtown” - will be on hand as two of this season’s villains, along with returning stars Timothy Olyphant, Walton Goggins and company.
Counting down the days until I can see this on my tv again!

Here’s my review of the season finale of Justified
Pretty much! I am a huge fan of Alan Sepinwall’s reviews and I couldn’t say it better than he already has. So here are some reasons why Justified should get ALL THE EMMY’S!
Oh and since Brynn has obviously already watched it, I am ready to talk spoilers. So be warned, spoilers ahead!
We went into this finale expecting some kind of epic, probably very bloody showdown between Raylan and Mags, but while both of them bleed, and Mags dies, the season’s big climax is the two old enemies working together in service of someone they care about more than their ancient family feud. And that was as unexpected as it was beautiful to watch, just a trio of great performances from Olyphant, Margo Martindale and Kaitlyn Dever.
And then, and then… holy hell, that final scene between Raylan and Mags.
As I said last week, I have such low expectations of the Emmy voters that I wouldn’t be surprised if neither Olyphant nor Martindale get nominated but… damn. Just listen to the way Martindale says “Doyle” upon getting the news that one of her sons was killed, and the way she packs so much information into that one syllable: how she’d much rather it had been Dickie, how her recent rise to fortune has now cost her two sons, and how damn tired she is of all of this, tired enough to do what she does with the glasses.
I don’t even know where to begin it was so good. Martindale better get at least a nomination for her role as Mags Bennet because she gave me nightmares week after week. I don’t want to talk spoilers in case some people haven’t seen it yet (coughBrynncough) so here is a gif of the ultimate BAMF, Raylan Givens.

If you haven’t started watching this show yet, now is the perfect time to begin. There are only two seasons to catch up on, 26 episodes in total and it is well worth it. I am really going to miss this show and the start of the third season seems so far away. Tim Gutterson feels the same way.

I was just reminded how awesome Justified was last night with this post from apsies.
As if you all needed another reason to watch this AH-MAZING show besides Timothy Olyphant (occasionally shirtless and always wearing a great hat) and Walton Goggins (epitome of awesomesauce) you have Jacob Pitts saying things like this and making the world perfect again.
“My name’s Boyd Crowder. You can come after me if you want but it’ll be the last thing you ever do.” click click BOOM!
This show. I can’t. It’s too awesome.

UGH. This man. What is Winona thinking even contemplating ditching him (again!) and going back to Gary? Crazy lady.
